How can a leader of instructional technology use a blog?
A leader of instructional technology could certainly use a blog in his or her classroom to post assignments, how to videos, power points for the students to access, etc. A blog is a powerful and very resourceful tool for a teacher. I feel that a teacher would need several blog pages to keep personal and professional life separated. Also, a blog for colleagues and one for students. I would think this would be kinda difficult, but maybe have it all in one, but I'm not quite sure how you would go about creating that and keeping everything separated. I also feel in my school not too many teachers have a lot of knowledge about blogs and feel comfortable using them. So I do not think blogs will go far in my school right now. Hopefully, in the future they will be used through out the school to better communicate with one another. Blogs are a fantastic place to get information to anyone quick, easy, and in a friendly way.

I found your log while looking for examples from users of SlideRocket. I see you also use Jing. I'm currently working on a manuscript for teachers about ways to incorporate Web 2.0 tools into their teaching and learning, I'm looking for teachers who would like to contribute a vignette or case study about how they are using tools like SlideRocket and Jing (and about 60 other apps)to engage their students. If you would be interested in learning more, please contact me through email, fmbetts@gmail.com, my network site, k24x7now.ning.com/, or blog. Thanks
