My students think Google Earth is the coolest website. I really enjoy the expression on the students face when they can find their school or house. It teaches the students knowing the address of a place they can find it in a matter of minutes. It is a very real life experience for the students. It is a great learning tool when teaching latitude and longitude. Along with space and direction. It is a great beginner tool for second graders. My school uses it in the computer lab and in the individual classrooms for learning.
